The “Old Vourvoulos Houses” is a small complex of two independent, self catering houses of unique character, in the old traditional settlement of Vourvoulos village.

It is situated on the center east slopes of Santorini, with a magnificent view to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea and to the nearby islands. Just 4 Km from the cosmopolitan capital of Fira and 8Km from the artistic and abuzz Oia, you can live, in parallel, the treasured experience of tranquility and privacy in an authentic and unspoiled village.

The “L” house, which is partially a cave house, can accommodate up to 6 people, and is ideal for families, couples or group of friends. It has two bedrooms –one master with its own bathroom – as well as a sofa, in the spacious entrance hall, which can be transformed in to two single beds. Apart from the fully equipped kitchen, there is also a separate dining room, while its living room with a fireplace and windows that face the sea, makes the house ideal even for the wintertime. On its suitably furnished patio there is an outdoor barbeque where you can enjoy your meals.

The "S" house

The “S” house has an open space style (45 m2) and can accommodate up to 4 people. So it is ideal for couples and honeymooners, families or even for lonely travelers. It has a loft bedroom with wonderful views of the garden and the sea, a living room with two single beds, plus space for a baby cot, a fully equipped kitchen facing the sea, and of course a bathroom. Its private patio is beautifully furnished with rattan. There is also a portable barbeque.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS

Coloumbos beach, 3 km: A hidden gem of Santorini, considered by some as the best beach on the island. It took its name from the homonymous active underwater volcano (at 18 meters depth). The beach is covered with small pebbles. The small cape at the end of the beach is ideal for snorkeling, and good swimmers will enjoy swimming up to the edge of the cape, where they can explore the cave that leads to the other side of it. Very quiet, used to be for nudism.
